We have created a team of experienced clinical, nursing, management and administration professionals at M-Brace Orthodontics who work together to provide you with the very best care. Their main priority is to ensure you are listened to so that you achieve fantastic results, in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Specialist Orthodontist, Mr. Mahesh
Mr. Mahesh founded M-Brace Orthodontics in 2009. He is a highly qualified and award winning Specialist Orthodontist who heads the teams at his four practice locations.
Orthodontists
Orthodontic Therapists
Orthodontic Therapists are dental professionals who are registered with the General Dental Council. They start their careers as Dental Nurses then advance their clinical experience to become Orthodontic Nurses (Specialising in Orthodontics). They then undergo full time training to achieve a Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy (DipOT) from the Royal College of Surgeons.
Orthodontic Therapists assist the Orthodontist to fit, adjust and remove braces and work to the prescription of the Supervising Orthodontist. They can also carry out emergency treatments in the absence of an Orthodontist such as relieving pain, or making appliances safe.
We are proud to be one of the few clinics in the UK to thoroughly embrace the role of Orthodontic Therapists.
Management
Each of our four practices is headed by a Practice Manager who oversees recruitment, staffing, finance, and the business functions of the practice so that everything around your treatment is as well-organised as possible. They are supported by Practice Administrators who will make sure that everything regarding your appointments and patient experience runs smoothly.
Reception and Administration
Reception and Administration staff are the friendly and organised heart of the practice, supporting both patients and clinical team members throughout the treatment journey. They are often the first point of contact for patients, whether in person, over the phone, or by email, and play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Their responsibilities include managing appointments, handling patient enquiries, maintaining records, processing referrals, and ensuring that the day-to-day running of the clinic is smooth and efficient. They work closely with the clinical team to make sure everything is in place to deliver outstanding patient care.
Dental Nurses
Dental Nurses work closely with the Orthodontist, and the Therapists. They are highly qualified and many possess additional qualifications such as radiography. All of them are registered with the General Dental Council. Our nurses are dedicated to creating a friendly, caring environment where you can feel supported and reassured, making your orthodontic journey as comfortable as possible.
Treatment Coordinators
Each of our practices has a dedicated Treatment Coordinator to help guide you from your very first enquiry all the way to the end of your treatment. Our TCO’s are here to help explain treatment options in clear language, discuss finance options, help with any queries you may have and support you throughout your entire orthodontic journey.
We offer an initial thirty-minute complimentary consultation where you’ll have a chance to explore all the appliances available including Invisalign, Clear Fixed Braces and Lingual Braces (braces that fit behind the teeth), discuss finance options and ask any questions you may have about private orthodontic treatment. The consultation is designed to give you clear information in a relaxed environment to help you make an informed decision about the best option for you.
